![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | The Storage Units Near the west side of the desecrated city are dozens of empty storage units. Although the metal is starting to rust and most have been dented beyond repair, they still offer the best protection from the elements and attacks, and so many have been turned into dens. Certain units have special purposes, such as the nursery unit where cubs are kept, but for the most part they’re simply used for sleeping and staying safe. Moderator: Admin Evebrook | 0 | 0
![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Fountain Park This dying forested green-space of the city is used by wolves as a sort of hunting ground. The dense mix of coniferous and deciduous trees provide a perfect breeding ground of small game such as rabbits, squirrels, and other woodland creatures. Large game is a rare sight, but not impossible to find. The fountain in the center that the park was named after has lost its majesty, but the wolves still use it as a drinking hole. ![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Fireform Avenue This street was once known for it’s older, ‘historic’ brick houses. Most of them have burned, leaving piles of rotting wood, charcoal, and the decaying frames of homes. Sometimes larger birds-of-prey come to hunt, but mostly wolves forage in this place, hoping to find something useful still around from when the city was once at it’s prime. ![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | The Hospital One of the only buildings left in the city that continues to stand with relatively little damage, this hospital is an eerie shell of the activity it once held. Now is seems almost peaceful, and very few animals come here anymore. However, it has a large supply of edible, non-perishable foods and dried herbs hidden in the depths, and since many rooms haven’t been open since humans roamed it’s halls daily, who knows what other secrets it may have? | Clearlake Territories |
![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Clearlake Clearlake lives up to its name in that it is a lake of the clearest water one would ever see. The wolves that taste the waters could detect a faint chemical aftertaste and suppose it has something to do with the ominous factory nearby. However, it remains one of the healthiest water sources in Estysion. Full of fish and amphibians, Clearlake also is surrounded by a flat, green meadow. ![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Factory Prime The use of the factory was lost with the humans that abandoned it, though it is said that whatever it was there for, it’s responsible for the lake bring so clear and reflective. Now, though, the many rooms have been transformed into homes for wolves. Broken down machines are scattered on the factory floor; however, sometimes, they spring to life if a wolf hits the right button. Moderator: Admin Evebrook | 0 | 0
![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | The Sands Surrounding the factory and the east side of the lake, the Sands is, quite literally, a flat mini-desert. It isn’t large enough to be able to kill wolves through dehydration, nor does it have some sort of freak, hot climate. Though it’s reason for being there is unknown, it is sometimes used as a sort of meeting place, for no wolf as an advantage in a fight when surrounded by this type of terrain. ![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | City Dump Located west of the Broken city and well into the Northern range of Clearlake Territory, the city dump provides a great foraging area with something new to find each trip. From broken down cars, relics of a past civilization, and maybe that rare snack-cake that survived the end of the world, a man's trash becomes a wolf's treasure. Sometimes, a wolf's gotta dig for what he's looking for though.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Stump Forest Leading from the Sands, this was once a beautiful forest, but has been reduced to nothing but stumps due to the desperate logging during the last years of mankind's reign. Wolves have dug dens under the roots and stumps. There are some twisted, stunted trees in the western half of the forest, untouched by man, but affected by the radiation from the final human war. ![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Moon's Landing A large crater lies in the center of the dead forest. It seems to be coated with a silver powder that glows on a clear night, whether it’s a full or new moon. Rainwater collects in the center of the crater, and there is an island the middle. The island is actually the bomb that created the crater. However, the wolves of the Wastelands believe it's a piece from the far side of the moon and they believe it brings good luck for those who stand on it. Moderator: Admin Evebrook | 0 | 0
![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Roseburr Farm Once a thriving family farm, the empty barns and homestead now supply the wolves with a new area to den in the coldest months. Located on the historic scenic route between city and the forest, the farm represents the last artifact of prosperity in the Wastelands. Wheat still grows around the homestead, though it is mostly choked out by weeds.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Devil's Meander Once a fresh-flowing river, now a muddy stream, Devil's Meander picks up from an underground source where Black River left off. Fish somehow still swim through the water and brave plants crowd its edges at some points. The plants and soil manage to filtrate the water enough to sustain life, though barely. A decaying bridge crosses the stream, but it's mostly fallen in.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Estysion Mountain Range - 1 Viewing To the North of the inhabitable areas of Estysion is a mountain range. The plentiful caves and the mine shafts make the mountains seem like they might make a good packland, but the scarcity of prey and the near-absence of plantlife forbid that possibility. Cold year-round, the mountains receive heavy snow in the wintertime. It's easy to get lost in the mountains.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Black River The pollution to the North greatly affect this river. Sludge and garbage are visible in its water, but fish are visible as well. As it runs, it carves itself between two cliffs. However, the cliffs serve as a memory from the days when the Black River was much healthier. Instead of gaining momentum, it peters out into nothing but a moist river bed littered with trash.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Felling Cliffs The Black River dried up at the South end, leaving the Felling Cliffs. Wolves must be careful lest they drop to their deaths. However, the cliffs are a popular place to commute for the opportunistic prey animals that have come down to eat the fish that become trapped in the small ponds leftover from the Spring thaw. Many herbs also grow in the valley of the cliffs, making it a necessary place for every pack to frequent.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Freeway Gas Station The freeway stretches for many miles North of the Gas Station and many miles South of it. The Gas Station has one of the pumps loose and the rainwater that collects in the potholes always seems to have that gasoline rainbow on the surface of it. The Gas Station's Convenience Store has been raided and the shelves are bare save for a few empty packages and items deemed useless for survival in the post-nuclear world.
