The Packs

There are three main packs on Estysion. These packs have their own histories, beliefs, and plots.

• Twin Oak Pack - A pack that resides in the Broken City. They believe that the Full Moon wolves are the favored ones. Compared to the other packs, they are closest to their instincts and nature despite living in the City.
  
• Project Clearlake - This pack makes its home west of the Broken City around Clearlake and the factory. They believe that mixing blood is the way of the future. They are rather scientific, and their pursuits sometimes get in the way of their true instincts.
  
• Wasteland Nomads - The Wasteland Nomads are the wanderers from the outside who came into Estysion. They believe that they are the perfected wolves because they are able to thrive in the harsh lands that they were left with. They are more nomadic than the other wolves, constantly moving from denning site to denning site, chasing what little prey they come across.
  

Joining a Pack

To join a pack, simply make your character. Posting in this thread is optional, but preferred. If your character seems an obvious fit into his rank, then you really don't have to post here. However, if a staff member would like you to post in this thread, she will tell you. Posting in this thread is mandatory for Alphas, Betas, and Gammas. But you can post any rank wolf in here. Posting here is also a great way to tell the staff your WIP bio is done or close to done.

Form

Fill out the following form in order to get into a pack. You can apply for any position. Simply fill out the entire form and staff will reply with whether or not your wolf got in. Remember that higher positions require that your wolf's history should include being in the pack for awhile!

Reason: I'm an active member and Aertal is a flawed leader, but one who has just enough good to be tolerated. Aertal is a good leader because she's able to be frank and emotionally detached enough to make non-biased decisions (except when they're biased towards her, LOL). She's well-developed and will bring an interesting dynamic to the relationship between the three packs and within the Wasteland Nomads.

Reason: Lore is a socially inept, but dedicated wolf. She understands herbs and is able to differentiate between several species of herbs as well as touch into the use of human medicines. Her expertise in the Healing Arts demands a higher rank, but her nervous disposition--which is amplified under pressure--makes her unable to gain rank. As such, she remains in the Zeta rank.

Duty Desired: To lead and guide the members of the pack. She likes to over see the defense planning and hunting parties.
Reason: Even at her youngish age, the fea is wise beyond the years of other wolves in her age area. With that wiseness comes strategics. Alina mind can work quick, even under pressure, and figure out how to handle a situation. Though she may not be strong physically, she can hold her own in a fight, and holds a gift with speed as well. But her knowledge is the key and her past experiences in life has taught her how to remain calm in a time of stress and take hold of the situation. In all her seriousness, there is a sweeter, shy side that does not effect her ability to lead without a fuss from the others.

Reason: Loki is a very calm wolf, which I think would offset Aertal's personality. I also have him imagined as quite smart and quick thinking, which means his position as Adviser would be desirable. I think the stresses as Beta would also be an interesting turn in his life, since he occasionally over thinks things and needs to take time for himself.
