Adoptions
Sometimes, you just lose the muse for your characters. If this happens, just post up that they are for adoption. Reply to this thread with the adoption form and then wait until someone shows interest in your character. When they do, delete the character's account and they will make a new one with the same username. All the posts made by the character before will now be inherited by this new account.
