Okay, I know I wanted to get Nyroc a little more "initiated" in Estysion, but a cool (but kinda weird) idea for a character came into my head. I know there is a slot in the bios labled "Non-Wolf Characters", so I think it would be alright.

A chihuahua!

You heard me right. A chihuahua. I have, in my opinon, the most adorable chihuahua living with me in the world, and her name is Izzy. So in honor of her, I am making a chihuahua named Izzy (Isabella) and using her pictures for her physical description. As soon as I get some pictures, I'll be sure to let you see them.

Anyway, that's not the end of this idea. Here's a basic outline of her history: Izzy finds her way into Estysion after wandering around for awhile; she has never seen humans in her life. She had met a group of smallish-medium sized dogs before arriving, and had established a place with them, but was for some reason seperated from that group. When she arrives in Estysion, she realizes she is pregnant. Izzy isn't sure how she will take care of herself, but ends up befrending a she-wolf (loner, pack wolf, it doesn't matter to me), who is also pregnant. They give each other some company for a couple months. However, one night Izzy is in a lot of pain and starts bleeding. She ends up having a miscarriage, which makes her really depressed. The she-wolf is sympathetic, but Izzy is secretly jealous of her. Then, when the time comes for the wolf to give birth, something goes wrong and the she-wolf dies during delievery. Izzy is left with two (possibly three) wolf pups. Inside, she is happy the she-wolf died because she is left with puppies to take care of.

That's all I've got so far. I know, it sounds kinda unlikely that a chihuahua would have enough milk to take care of two (maybe three) wolf puppies. But I'm thinking because she was born in a post-appocalypse, she is stronger than chihuahuas that were born before the nukes hit. I think it would be a really fun story to play out, if the admin is okay with it of course.

So.. that's it! If anyone is interested in playing one of the puppies, or has questions about the idea or even some cool additions, post here and let me know! I really hope this works out!

Edit: Oh, and I'll let the Rpers decide the puppies' personalities, genders, and looks!

Oh Lord, a chihuahua. xD

I have a love-hate relationship with those dogs. I like most of them as long as they know how to behave (which is up to the owner, I guess, since I've met both extremely yappy bratty one and quiet loving ones). But anyway.

I am not even close to a staff member, so I don't know if they'd allow it, but I wanted to give my two cents. Because there is a possibility humans exist, I could see small dog breeds existing to a point, but that would mean that the humans would have the time and resources to take care of a small dog that is used more for a pet than a fellow worker. Are they more focused on living than breeding cute dogs?

Survival of the fittest means that it would be more likely for breeds such as huskies, shepherds, and other hardy dogs to be able to wander around in the wild. Some simply can't exist, like bulldogs and pugs who usually need a C-section to be delivered. As far as chihuahuas... I don't know very much about what they're capable of, but I think that a hawk would carry it off if it didn't have some way of caring for itself.

A hawk might also carry off the cubs she's adopted, since she wouldn't be able to defend them well. I think this idea is very cute, a sort of interspecies adoption, but I don't know how plausible it would be for a chihuahua to survive in the wild, especially without any human care.

Sorry to be all... I don't know. Pessimistic, idea-destroying, rude. xD Concept is super cute, like I said, but I don't know the level of realism that is going into this RP because I'm not staff.

XD, I'm not a big fan of the yappy ones either, Harper. Izzy barks at doorbells and when other people come to the house, but otherwise she's pretty mellow. But she loves to play fetch, like, constantly.

Believe me, I know what you mean when it comes to the "realisticness" of this situation. Especially the part about the hawks (I've had to protect Izzy from owls before). And your not being pessimistic, you are giving me some good feeback about this idea.

As for the survival part, I was watching Dogs 101 (don't judge me XD), and it said chihuahuas were born when a dog brought from Spain bred with a naitve dog of Mexico. I think, but I'm not sure, that they were originally bred to take care of mice and other pests. So there is a remote possibility that a chihuahua could live off mice.

Anyway, I really appriciate what you've had to say about this. It lets me step outside of the idea and examine it in a constructive way. Thanks!

P.S.: A little background info on Izzy. She isn't pure-bred chihuahua, but a chihuahua terrier mix. Her body and looks are built like a chihuahua, but her fur is tan, and wiry like a terrier. Her mother was a terrier, who bred with a stray chihuahua that her family later adopted. A cousin of mine used to own one of Izzy's brothers, and he was black and had smooth, shiny fur. Just a little extra info.
