Name:
Ink Shade.
Sex:
Female.
Birth-Date:
April 8, 2307.
Age:
3 years.
Species:
Half Moon.
Pack:
Project Clearlake.
Rank:
Zeta.
Duty:
Soldier.
Appearance:
With long yet sturdy legs to support her well toned body, Ink has the ideal body structure to keep herself going. Her muscles are well defined and trained after years of hard work, but concealed beneath a pelt of striking ginger fur. This is usually what grabs others' attention first, but what is also surprising are her pale eyes. They are of the coldest blue, icy tone upon icy tone, layered over a cool background to appear like thin, frozen sea glass.
Considering her duty in the pack, she only has a few minor scratches here and there. Barely anything flaws her soft coat, and her strong body moves smoothly and silently as she transports herself from one place to the next. Ink only has one true injury on her body, which is a torn front left paw, but usually she'll try to hide it from view and act like it isn't there. The majority of the time, others don't look down at her paws to notice the small white 'droplets' that mark them. Other than that, she's basically just one big streak of red.
Skills:
Let's see here:
- Fighting
- Sneaking
- Using her senses overall
- Tracking
- Manipulating others with her deceiving appearances and soft-spoken voice.
Personality:
Surprisingly, Ink isn't a free-spirited, 'let's go nuts and do whatever' kind of wolf. Thanks to her debilitating past, her self esteem has plummeted down to where she has difficulty thinking she's much of a use for anything, and her emotions are locked behind her outwardly kindness and quiet demeanor. Her voice can be quite soft at times, especially when she's around a stranger who isn't an enemy, and only on occasion will she dare bring it to a full-out yell.
More often than not, she keeps to herself. Her social skills aren't exactly the greatest ones out there, and she's more silent than talkative. Some find this as her being awkward and such, but it's just that she doesn't really have much to say in the first place. If she did, then you'd know it. Always though, Ink will keep her words and actions in check, being the polite one in the group. Just remember, this is only the case if she's in a civil situation. Bring her out into a hostile environment, and you'll watch her break from her carefully knit shell, lashing out on those who are enemies in her line of sight. All of her past troubles and frustrations will usually flood out then, making her into the ever devastating soldier she is.
History:
As a pup, Ink Shade was definitely last on the list when it came to her mother's top priorities. Even her own brothers and sister treated her wrongly, and thanks to these jerks she began to dwindle down a darkening pathway. The only one who seemed to care for her was her father, but unfortunately, he was killed in a pack hunt, trampled to death. She wasn't even a year old when this happened, and so she had to deal with the loss at quite a young age, practically by herself considering how the rest of her family didn't want anything to do with her. It didn't make sense for them to have such a deep disliking for her, but they did. Perhaps it was because she was the only one who had blue eyes in the litter, or stark red fur. Whatever the case may have been, it was apparent that they did not care for her company. So apparent, as a matter of fact, that her mother had deemed her the name Shade, in referral to how much of a shadow she was in her life. It wasn't until a year later that the pup named herself Ink for the splattered markings on her paws.
And so, she learned how to live on her own at a young age. Slowly, Ink became content with the idea of being alone for the rest of her life, having no reason to doubt that that was what lie ahead in her future. It wasn't until she turned one and a half years that she learned that didn't have to be the case. A loner like herself at the time, an older wolf had stumbled upon her on one of her hunts. It was an unsuccessful one at that, with only a bony hare to chase after. She was a pitiful sight, and the wolf took it upon himself to see her to a better life. He taught her right then and there how to find something with actual meat on its bones, and after that day she stuck around him, finding him to be company that was actually enjoyable and guilt-free.
Sadly, this wolf was well beyond his years, and he too passed away shortly after their meeting. By then Ink was two years old, having lived half a year with him, and once again a loner. It seemed she just couldn't get a break until she happened to run across the alpha of the Project Clearlake pack. Raven graciously took Ink in, and with a new support to lean on, she slowly began to open back up.
