Purpose of this Thread The staff of WfMN cannot have people creating characters that don't fit in with the history and culture of Estysion. And we can't have a world populated only by one type of wolf! To ensure that the essence of the world is maintained, if you wish to color outside of the lines, please post in this thread first. Don't worry, there is information in the Characters Board about what isn't allowed. If what you want is banned, do not hesitate to post the following form in this thread. Staff will reply as necessary. And you can reply back if you wish to clarify things that the staff assumed incorrectly. Banned List - Orphaned puppies
- Humans in History
Form Name: Your OOC Name Character: An overview of the character you seek to make. Reason to be Accepted?:Write about why your character needs a trait on the banned list. Name:Harper Character: Elizabeth is a one-year-old New Moon wolf in the Twin Oak pack. She is training to become a caregiver, even if it's traditionally an omega's rank, because of her immense love for children. She is a sweet individual, competitive to an extent as all teenagers can be, but also a great negotiator. She does well at her duty even if she has some things to learn. She does suffer from some psychological weaknesses, however -- most prominent being her separation anxiety. While she is very social in her pack and can hold her own among the adults, she regresses to the mental capacity of a much younger cub when she is left alone or abandoned. Reason to be Accepted?:I would be glad to have a history that does not involve being orphaned/abandoned if I could think of an alternate reason for Beth's separation anxiety. Her parents would have been in the pack, and the pack could have raised her after she was abandoned, so her ability to survive alone at such a young age is not an issue. She would have suppressed the memory of her parents so that she doesn't angst about them, but the mark was still left on her. I believe that I can incorporate her abandonment without making it cliche.

Harper - I believe that you can make this a very interesting and multi-dimensional character. I say yes, go ahead and create her.

Post by Silenor "Doc" Stonepelt on Jul 8, 2011 22:56:49 GMT -5
Name: Nyroc Character: Silenor "Doc" Stonepelt Reason to be Accepted?:Yeah, yeah. I know that A LOT of people put "abandoned as a pup/kitten/baby/egg" in their character's history. "Where have all the parents gone?!?," you ask? I'm not sure, but in Doc's case, his parents were full-moon wolves who couldn't find the means to take care of him. But really, it doesn't matter why they left him with the Twin-Oaks, it just matters that they left him with the Twin-Oaks. Without this fact, Doc would never had met the love of his life, Tree. Plus, Tree is the only one he's ever been "close to", so not only did Doc end up with a mate, but also a kind of motherly figure that replaced the mother who was never there for him. (unfortunately, he ends up loosing her as well =( )

Nyroc - I'm gonna say that that is fine. They left him there knowing that someone would look after him so he wasnt one of those pups who was left out in the widlerness and such.
